It was announced last week that the company that makes the popular social, location based, program Foursquare is working on an app for the Palm Pre. They already have a very popular app for the iPhone that has become a hit with the tech savvy crowd after its launch at SXSW this year. Many a Review site has missed the boat on this app as its already gaining popularity with local businesses. People that check in via GPS with their Fousquare app at various locations, numerous times, one can gain "mayorships" or "badges." And local businesses are loving this concept by offering "mayors" special discounts like FREE drinks!
